Now that I can have everyone's attention, a little good news.

Since Jules and I both needed the occasional break from the Bronze Age, I'm proud to announce Liminal Intranet is now up and running. Even I'm not good enough to hook it up to proper Internet, as that would involve punching dimensional holes that are probably beyond our reach, but it should at least be a boon to Project Infopool.

Servers are in my rooms, so they won't be going anywhere even if I do. You'll have to provide your own computers, though.

Jesus fucking Christ, I am so tired of people blaming Stockholm syndrome for anyone who isn't completely miserable here or doesn't see this place as a jail or thinks it might be preferable to other alternatives like being dead. As in finally dead, not the kind you can rise from because your body is on fire on their roof.

I never said you were brainwashed. I implied that people get too comfortable in a situation and place they don't have total control of. They sympathize with the Arcana. You were kidnapped and taken from your home. A cage is still a cage, even if its made of gold and is better than somewhere else.

There's a reason I'm not even trying to argue about it. I mean, Inaba doesn't sound like a bad place all told, but I can see where it'd feel stifling after seeing the big wide universe. And then you have folks with supremely fucked-up home worlds, or who died at home, and is it any wonder they'd rather not go back to that? And I want to go home eventually, but I can do some good while I'm here, so I'm damn well gonna do it.
