A Couple of Questions [Post Greek Jaunt/Carousel Liminal, Day 3]

[Someone was a nerd and has been thinking about this an awful lot before asking his questions. Which might be noticeable.]

My greetings, fellow Travelers. I have two questions to ask of you.

Firstly—what transpired during the last Jaunt? My Overlay was not... privy to most of the details.

Secondly—and perhaps more personally—are there others Marked by Astræa—by Justice? I am curious.

I didn't end up going, but from what I heard it got pretty tense at times. Still, they managed to actually have the meeting and not start a war, so that's good overall.

[And it boxed Tower out, which is good news for literally the entire universe.]

I think that turned out to be one person getting carried away and pissing off their own side more than anything else.

Yeah, Chariot won.

Chucking them in the general direction of underground prison, from what I gathered, which wasn't a popular move even with the pantheon planning the takeover. Some of them had been there themselves.

It was, and that... brought its own problems.

[After a moment, Naoki locks the conversation. This conversation was trying enough the first few times.]

Boxing Tower out of the competition at large was... important to several of us, from the perspective of the Arcana's game at large. Unfortunately, with Chariot being on the other side of things it wasn't as simple as 'restore the old order' - it had to fall apart somehow, but that would have been very nasty on several fronts.

And then you get the people who think you can't care about a world's welfare and the entire universe's welfare at the same time, or letting their personal biases get in the way of what was actually happening.

Don't thank me, the most useful thing I did was snap Kanji back to himself out of his overlay and then help fight a two-headed dog.

Exactly. Tower has a place on a personal scale sometimes, but much bigger than that and it just gets ugly. The last thing we need is an entire universe based on cataclysm.

After dealing with Izanami, that was nothing.

...That's an aspect I could have lived without considering, really. But you're probably right that it'd make internal combustion messier along with everything else.

The apocalypse genre in general usually is.
