That's true. But in this case, I think it may be less different universes, and more different parts of the universe. They're Earth things, aren't they?

Makes as much sense as anything else. Yeah, Earth snacks. So your universe has an Earth, and you're from some other part of the universe?

Yes. I've never actually been to Earth in my own universe - though I expect that will change someday - but I've heard a little about it.

We're pretty low-grade, as far as technology goes. But you're probably already aware of that, what with the Travelling and the sort of implied knowing of home-base Earthlings there.

I think the humans I know are a century or two ahead of the Earth we visited on the last Jaunt, but yes - comparatively speaking, you're in the early days of discovery. That isn't a bad thing, though. You have the whole universe ahead of you.

I know right. [Isn't it just so exciting!] Back home I was studying to be an applied physicist, I wanted to be all over the next phase in human space travel!
