Snag it, bag it and tag it
So I'm thinking it might be time to consider stealing the amulet and giving the pieces to people who'll actually use it. It's not gonna do anyone a damn bit of good sitting in this museum, that's for sure.
The real trick is going to be, well, stealing it, considering it managed to animate the suits of armor in here. That might outstrip whatever mundane security's on the place - I can handle people and technology, but this might even be a step beyond Artifact snagging. We should get the Forest Folk bit to those guys ASAP, but we at least have investigators who can relay it.
We also, uh. Need to be able to tell the pieces apart.
So. Who's in, what can you bring to the table, and what say we shoot for next week? Best chance of planning something that doesn't go totally pear-shaped.

I call not it. And will need crash courses on potions that make you invisible and - what's the word for "no one can hear you?"

I'd be down t'try pinchin' it, but if yer theory's right I ain't too keen on findin' out what the consequences are. Still, I can probably get a Forest Folk in just fine.

Uggh. If this isn't Fool's show I don't know which one it is. This one isn't even "once upon a time," it's "tell me the one about the amulet again."
I wish I remembered to ask him 'this is your jaunt right' when I got his attention.

Someone else is going to have to do the potion crash course, though.

For this is one more world of many
We strangers can hope to set right,
But all that I've seen doesn't make me too keen
Cause more often we set them alight -

I can certainly carry something though, I can reach nearly a mile teleporting... or shove it in to another person's hammerspace for them to pull out.

That might be useful, if we can't grab a forest-based investigator to come after that piece.

[The psychic voice that chirps up is a little uncertain-sounding. Should she be doing this? Admitting to...
But she knows this business.]
I... may be able to lend some assistance.

My Overlay's also a fast runner, so if we need delivery, I can get it to the Forest Folk.

Don't know why we're worried about it being Forest Folk only, though. The human who set them up could touch it just fine. Could get one of the many Forest Folk investigators on the job, if we're that worried about it.

I have Psychic skills like showing what I see, and Protection. [ There are few Travelers who know that he sees more than most, but Claudia is one of them. ] I may be able to investigate the Amulet's magic with Cantrips or a more direct Interface. [ Or Indigo Color Magic, but that's on a need-to-know basis. ] My Hammerspace is linked with Malik's.
Stealing it without being noticed will be the difficult part, as will convincing Forestfolk that we mean no harm in helping take it. Getting it to them, with or without their knowledge, will be simple. I can turn into a wolf, at the least. Before we return it to the Forestfolk, I want to make sure they will use it properly. This is an artifact people might kill each other for, though I do not want to be killing anyone on this mission. I do not want to start a war. Until we know that no human will arm themselves to take it back, I suggest the Forestfolk continue hiding.

[And she knows a thing or two about magical surges that are likely to kill someone.]

Anyway, I wasn't able to do that.

That's good data, though, and part of why I built in planning time. [That it also gives the locals a chance to get their act together on their own is another consideration.]

I don't know enough about the Forest Folk side of things, just that their piece probably shouldn't stay with the humans if this is gonna get done properly.
