And what exactly is a ninja? I have heard they are warriors whom have mastered the arts of stealth and combat.

You aren't wrong. Ninja are those who utilize subtlety and stealth to overcome challenges.

They may be old-fashioned [and lame. so, so lame.], but I believe there's still a place for them in the world, and among Travelers.

Anyone can become a ninja with training and resolve; no qualifications are necessary.

That having been said, becoming a ninja is not easy. Without the focus and drive to train and better yourself, a person will be unable to make it.

Kinji is self-taught. I was born into it. We have different ideas of what makes a good lesson.

Once you've learned the rules, it's up to a ninja's discretion to break them. There are times when hiding is the smartest option... but it isn't always necessary. There is more to subtlety than just being quiet.

Resolve can be gained. [...he should know. he had none, when he was called back to Japan to fulfil his role as a Ninninger.] In the end, it's an individual decision. Nobody can be forced to want to dedicate themselves to this path, and those who do want to dedicate themselves often already have their resolve.

That... depends on the approach. Doesn't it? Different approaches have different strengths and weaknesses.

[Cassandra actually has rather strong opinions on this, given that her point of comparison is the Organization, but Yakumo has no way of knowing that.]
