[The Jaunt has only been over for perhaps half an hour when Allura's voice comes across the network, tight and clipped as though she has a white-knuckled grasp on control.]

I know some of us tend toward trigger happy.

[As evidenced by the chalk outline in the penalty box - not quite a universal sign for 'some poor soul was just murdered', but close.]

But I would strongly advise against killing someone who has been severed from the Network or from Liminal Space. It appears to...disrupt the mechanism by which we're resurrected if we die during a Jaunt. They will return in the Floor, aware for at least part of the process.

In my universe, I help bring people from life to what comes after. And from what comes before. I've never tried it here... but it might still make a difference.

I expect there will be opportunities to find out next Jaunt. I'd be shocked if it was a peaceful one.

It doesn't usually come into play on Jaunts with everyone just slipping into investigating.

Even if it wasn't, the scenery doesn't bode well for us.

I'm guessing 'the stuff of nightmares' would be an understatement?

...I'm both incredibly curious, and absolutely terrified of knowing just what that means.

Those of us with finite lifespans can be sensible. We just also have a limited amount of time to work with.

Honestly I think you're more likely to be sensible. You have a better sense of perspective.
