So which half of Liminal was going to help with Shiro's replacement arm, again? Apparently it's time to get the ball rolling on that.

...It doesn't matter anymore because you don't need the medicine, or simply don't have any to take?

[This is an important distinction, and a wee bit more life-threatening than Ignis. He'll get back to that in a second.]

Don't have any. Haven't since a while before I became a Traveler. It.. kinda got left behind.

-=which.. may have had something to do with his mental break out in the snow but thats neither here nor there at this point=-

We have a few different people who are good at chemistry, and at least two who have made medicines before. [Soft and gentle, and just a bit worried.] You shouldn't have to suffer without it. Talk to Helena. Or Alcuin. If you want backup, I'll go with you. But don't force yourself to go without.

I-it's not.. like I need it so survive. It seems like a whole lot of trouble to figure out for just me, you know?

Whether or not you need it to survive isn't really the point. It helps you live, and that means it's worth it. Besides, where there's one, there's often more. If you're taking it, and there's, what. Fifty? Sixty people in liminal space? That means statistically there are probably about nine other people who are affected by something similar. And if no one is making the medication, how are they going to get theirs when it runs out? How likely are they to go to someone and ask?

Probably about as likely as you are.

Yeah but... drugs are complicated. Don't you need to be some sort of specialized chemist or something to actually make them?

That depends on whether or not your name is Helena Wells, mother of modern science. Also we have several specialized chemists and at least one person with specialized equipment that can analyze and create medicines specific to the individual.

Seriously. Prompto. Don't punish yourself for not being at home. You have every right to a comfortable and happy life.

I know.. I guess after so long it feels weird to think about taking them again. I've been doing okay without them, I think.

It's always your choice. [Gently.] Just don't be ashamed if you decide that you would like to have them on hand. And if you need to talk, you know my door and brain are always open. [ Humor, it's humor, he swears. ]

You're a good man, Prompto, with a big heart and an amazing mind, whether you feel like it or not.

Thanks, dude. You're pretty awesome yourself. I'll think about it, okay?
