I learned how to do exactly that on a jaunt once. Or walkabout. Whatever they're called. I can build it, but I can do the surgery part too!

I can't really help on any of the tech parts, but if you need some help in figuring out how to make it look or just generally want feedback from someone with a prosthetic... not the same as an actually attached arm, but I thought it might help...
