An invitation~

So... Matt and I were talking, and since Matt so graciously accepted my proposal, we decided that for my birthday we can have a little wedding, as a treat.

We'd like to invite all the Travelers - no need to RSVP, just turn up if you're feeling like it that day. There's no dress code for guests, there will be food at the reception, and music, if you feel like dancing on the rings of Saturn with us.

We have some things planned, and there are some folks helping out already, but if you feel like pitching in, heh, we wouldn't say no. Feel free to reach out and we'll get you in touch with the people who are already working on stuff.

We would be honored if people would be interested in sharing in this with us. I can promise no kaiju, but there will be sweets.

I was infiltrating, but ask Drizzt about it, it was his dad who got pulled into the last thing. Somebody asked why his 'parents' weren't married, it kinda spiraled from there, Lovers snuck jauntside to do the ceremony.

They were less than amused by how real their lolz wedding turned out to be.

If you want the 'multiversally binding' thing, then by all means take the risk. Weddings are freaking idiomatic catnip for her, so she probably will crash - I think she did the wedding in frickin' Doki too, but again, infiltrating. [Also that couple wanted to get properly married, if she remembers right.] But that's something you should at least be on the same page about before you leave the door open.

Hey, if we learned nothing else from the other two weddings, it's that she will turn up.

As for keeping her from officiating... hmm. Best I can think of is filtering who can come in the door until the ceremony proper is over. She'd probably enjoy the reception regardless, but I don't know if we can trust her to not take over the wedding if she's allowed near it.

You can filter what gets through a portal, so I don't see why you couldn't try to keep the Arcana from coming into a place.

Doesn't mean she couldn't overpower the filter, but it'd be worth a shot.

Matthew or Minako. Minako's less likely to be cagey about turning up for a party as a general concept.

Not Matt, Matthew. But yeah, that's him. The pronouns are some kind of weird semi-possession thing - he claims it isn't that exactly, but 'we are not possessing me' isn't what you call a convincing argument. [And it's easy enough to just roll with it, for the most part.]

You want peak Liminal-fu, you want one of those two. I think Minako even mentioned plateauing for a while before the last salon.

Sorry? [Not that there's much she could do about it.]

He seems to handle it pretty well, at least, give or take the pronoun wobbles.

What counts is that he said yes, but keep telling yourself the food and scenery made a bigger impact, sure.
