Awkward questions time

Unrelated to... most everything else, but I have a question for you all.

What are parents supposed to be like? Having them, or even being one.

I ask because I do not... actually know from first-hand experience. I never really knew mine and I have no children of my own.

[Someone has been hitting the truth sharing apples probably a bit more than he should have, so expect some storytime.]

[DID SOMEONE SAY DADDY ISSUES??]

Does it matter what they're supposed to be like?

I dunno why it would- if you're old enough to worry about it the damage is already done.

[SUCK, BRO.]

That's one hell of a gap, yeah. I'm pretty sure the theory hasn't changed all that much, though- protection and guidance and all of that crap.

[To kind of answer the original question and also the unasked inquiry of Worick's opinion of those lofty aims...]

[That was how that went back in the day, huh? Still, Worick would bet his left but that if he'd been born a couple hundred years ago he'd have been fed to the livestock or left in a ditch, crappy life expectancy or not.

Clearly he lucked out being born when he was.

...Kind of.]

Practice is usually where things start to go sour, in my experience. Especially if there's more than one kid running around. Most people can barely handle one... You got any siblings?
