So somebody wanna tell me where the Trumps were hidin' this Jaunt? My other self in there was kinda on the sidelines of whatever action went down, given the whole havin'-a-baby thing, and I don't remember talkin' to anythin' that might fit a Trump in disguise.

First time I died I was in an overlay. Once I woke up in Liminal, I went north, grew a beard, and took on my cousin Dono's name to join the Sun Guard.

But yes, the time you rose me from the dead, I was myself. The lycanthropy was something I picked up on an earlier Jaunt.

My overlay had family. I wanted to be a bit less easily recognized if we ended up in the same place. Hence taking on Dono's name as well--also it fit the general naming strictures of the peninsula better than Byerly did.

Anyhow, Riddick grew a beard and he didn't even die.

At least you have some temporal contemporaries. I believe the early twenty-first century is one of the more popular times for Travelers to come from.

What's it like?

Ah. That's a good question. There are a number of colonized planets, including my own. Interstellar travel is done by way of wormhole. Childbirth is often handled by uterine replicator if one can afford it, given how much safer it is for anyone involved. All alien life encountered so far has been sub-sentient, but on some planets this is made up for with genetic engineering to, ah, expand the limits of the human form.
