So somebody wanna tell me where the Trumps were hidin' this Jaunt? My other self in there was kinda on the sidelines of whatever action went down, given the whole havin'-a-baby thing, and I don't remember talkin' to anythin' that might fit a Trump in disguise.

I'm not expecting anyone to agree. Not even Matthew-san. But it sounded like he wanted to have a conversation about it, and then I got chewed out for answering his arguments with my own.

I probably shouldn't have snapped. [At least he's aware he can be a judgmental little shit sometimes? (It's one of many reasons he's baffled that Leonardo seems to be pinning so much on his opinion. That's a terrible idea.)]

That seems to happen quite a bit when people have differing viewpoints around here.

I have gathered that those of you who did not go to the 1920's had a difficult time, being upset and easily irritable is understandable.

No kidding. [Gee, why on earth would he be.

But really, that's kind of the button Matthew tripped over. Naoki saw how hard that whole argument was on the two people who did the most to try to stop it, and really didn't feel like having one himself.]

It doesn't help that this is something we're probably not all going to agree on even when we actually know what it is they're up to. I still think more evidence points to them thinking this is to our mutual benefit, even if they have a funny way of showing it, but I know I'm in the minority. I just don't want to be told to fuck off for having an opinion.

And yes, I know I kind of did that to him. I never said I'm perfectly consistent.

I am of the mind that we can only have suspicions, everyone will always have their own way of looking at any given situation and form their own conclusions from it.

It is on us to be willing to accept it and still work together when the situation calls for it.
