[ but that sentence is said a little more bitter and out of step to everything else. it's obvious he is not only unhappy about Hijikata, but there's a little more to it there. it's hard to pin, but it's like one might expect of a caged animal already pacing in restlessness as it's evaluating its situation and decided that taking this calmly is going to get it nowhere. ]

Compared to most jaunts, that could be pretty easy... and I've heard of America before! This isn't how I pictured it, though... they're the strong ones, always at war... a country full of rich guys, right?

[ She was caught up to speed by Hijikata before.. well, all of this just started happening out of nowhere, so she's still really getting the hang of it. It's probably why she's still mentally speaking up even when she's technically already accounted for.

Are you sure breaking out is a good idea though..? It could cause a lot of trouble.
