[open broadcast for Investigators]

Now that we've been released, let's speak on where we are and what is going on.

For those of you new to our numbers, this is a Jaunt. We are brought to a particular world and given a task. What that task is...none can say. But it will be more apparent in time, and then we can take action.

[A pause, almost a sigh.]

However, we have to focus on a few things first, such as food and shelter, and finding our way around the city. We'll need to begin our search as soon as possible. Has anyone found anything suitable for us to use in the meantime? We should gather there and regroup.

And if anyone has heard about what was going on in the alleyway when we arrived? Or about the card that was left behind?

[ooc: feel free to threadjack each other!]

The police. And tell the police what, exactly? Do you honestly think they don't know about organizations this big? If they could've done something about them, or wanted to, they would have by now.

W-well, the... if... if we find out who the killer is then we can just go to the police with all the evidence and no one's going to have to kill anyone and that'd be a lot better...

Um, I actually think yours sounds like a good idea.. if they could lock us up like that, then they can do the same to the person who might be killing someone, right? And as long as the killer can't carry out the act, then everything should be solved.

The yakuza do things like that, too... b-but that still doesn't make it okay! We can't just - I mean - there's always something to do, right...? [It's a bit of a plea. Please tell her there's something to do.]

No conclusions. Right. [She's okay with that. Just shove the whole thing out of mind for a while. Let the Responsible Veterans do the worrying.]

I guess that means talking to people. [Yet another unhappy prospect.]

I'm not even good at savory friends... [It's the mental equivalent of a sad little mutter.]

That's the Infiltrators, right? Are we, um, do we usually talk to them? I don't think they'll believe us...

Right. They're part of the team. [Now that's something she gets. Everything is instantly better with a Team.]

But if we can't talk to them then why are they even infiltrating, it's kind of counter-intuitive I mean if the Trumps made them do it you'd think it's so they could help us not the other way around... [She rambles along for a bit there. That's when she usually says the smart things.]

No way, you really think that all of them would do that..? [ Sure, even though Chizuru is naive, she is aware that there are some people in the world - although she herself would never be able to understand just why - would take money and let themselves be bribed. But even so, her eternal faith in people makes her wonder-- ]

There have to be at least some of them who would want to do the right thing, right? It's their job.

I didn't get to talk to the guards much when I was stuck in that cell..

[ Mostly since they didn't exactly have much of a reason to converse with captives, after all. But that also means it wasn't exactly a moment to find out more about them and whether they're trustworthy or not. ]

Okita-san and I met the doctor in that prison though, we talked with him for a little while.
