[open broadcast for Investigators]
Now that we've been released, let's speak on where we are and what is going on.
For those of you new to our numbers, this is a Jaunt. We are brought to a particular world and given a task. What that task is...none can say. But it will be more apparent in time, and then we can take action.
[A pause, almost a sigh.]
However, we have to focus on a few things first, such as food and shelter, and finding our way around the city. We'll need to begin our search as soon as possible. Has anyone found anything suitable for us to use in the meantime? We should gather there and regroup.
And if anyone has heard about what was going on in the alleyway when we arrived? Or about the card that was left behind?
[ooc: feel free to threadjack each other!]

It's not so uncommon where I'm from. Nobles bribe guards often when they want someone dead.

[Some people deserve to be assassinated. That's what Zevran would say.]
But we should find out more about this person, whoever is going to die. And we should know who put the hit out.

I guess that means talking to people. [Yet another unhappy prospect.]

[Which is what she tells herself as they keep going.]
We must look out for them too.

That's the Infiltrators, right? Are we, um, do we usually talk to them? I don't think they'll believe us...

But if we can't talk to them then why are they even infiltrating, it's kind of counter-intuitive I mean if the Trumps made them do it you'd think it's so they could help us not the other way around... [She rambles along for a bit there. That's when she usually says the smart things.]

There have to be at least some of them who would want to do the right thing, right? It's their job.

[Guards are bought out easily. But there are always a few true to their word and the law.]
Some will want to help. But if we use them, we'll need to find out who we can trust in the police force and who we cannot.

[ Mostly since they didn't exactly have much of a reason to converse with captives, after all. But that also means it wasn't exactly a moment to find out more about them and whether they're trustworthy or not. ]
Okita-san and I met the doctor in that prison though, we talked with him for a little while.
