If you see a Titan outside the fridge, don't worry. That's just me. [He doesn't want to scare anyone like he did last time he became a Titan in Liminal Space. Especially since the majority of Travelers seem more likely to try stabbing him than they are to run away.]

[There's a short pause as he seems to consider something.]

As long as I'm like this, does anyone want to use these giant letters to leave a message for the Trumps? It shouldn't be too hard for me to move them around right now. I just don't have anything to say to them that'd do any good.

[Imri slowly moves out from behind one of the giant letter he was hiding behind.]

You don't sound like you're new here. How come I never saw you before? Do you transform like papa does, with his elf form? [Fascinated as he is, he doesn't realize he just called Liara "papa".]

[Eren has no idea who the kid's papa might be, but given what he's seen of shapeshifting powers here it's not that hard to figure out what he means.]

[He nods, and makes a wordless sound of affirmation.] I'm a Titan Shifter. Most of the time I look like a normal human.

[Imri frowns, taking this in.] ...But if you're normally human, where does the rest of your body come from?

[bite_the_hand]

[The Titan's eyes widen a bit, clearly taken off-guard by that question. There's a pause that's the mental equivalent of an "uh" before he answers.] I don't really know. [He shrugs.] I'm still learning about my powers. I think I have them under control now, but I don't know how they work.

...Does that mean you haven't had your powers for long? How did you get them? [Distracted by the conversation, he seems to have unconsciously decided not to be scared of Eren, taking several steps closer.]

[bite_the_hand]

I've had them for six years now. I just didn't know I had them for most of that time. [There's a short, awkward pause at that second question. It's clear from the Titan's expression it's not something he likes to think about.] ...My old man did this to me. But he didn't bother to explain anything when he did.

[tobegood]

...Why did he do that? [The tone in his voice has gone tentative with trepidation. Once upon a time, he would have asked that question with genuine curiosity, simply not understanding why someone might do that. But that was before he met his own mother, and discovered everything she had done with and for him. Now the question fills him with uncertainty and foreboding.]
