So, now that everything is going to hades in a handbasket... can I get out of Liminal and maybe save some lives?

Nobody deserves to be put in some eternal oblivion or shut away in Tartarus, not even the Olympians. Which, okay yeah I'm biased here because hey family, but...

Would you let any of this happen to some other group of people if they weren't gods?

Is it okay to send someone, human or not, to somewhere I can personally say is worse than Mobieus ever was? I've been to Tartarus, it's...

I'd rather deal with Mobieus again, in all honesty.

But, maybe if we're lucky we can convince the Titans to just... exile the Olympian gods to Rome? Or whatever Rome is right now, I'm not sure it's really a thing yet.... just. Nobody deserves what's been done to them.

Yeah and Tower actually wants more badness. That's how Tower works.

Also I've been helping Claudia research stuff and Zeus and those guys don't even treat mortals like people. I'm pretty sure that some new gods who used to be mortals would treat them better. So as far as I see it, that is stopping future badness. It's just less dramatic kind of future badness being stopped.

I mean, don't the mortals here deserve not to get transformed into dumb stuff and be made to fall in love with weird crap or get knocked up by Zeus all the time?

Maybe for a while, but eventually immortality and godhood gets to your head. Hercules isn't a nice guy to anyone because he used to be mortal once upon a time, Disney lied. A lot.

Zeus is.... Zeus. I don't know if it's possible for any other god or goddess to do it but... smacking him with mortality for a couple years has been done to gods before by him.

And then maybe it's time for new new gods. The way the stuff we found made it sound like, that's what's supposed to happen, people getting new gods every so often, except Zeus ate his first wife and stopped it.

Maybe they all should get to be mortal for a while. Maybe then they'd realize what creeps they were being. That's how it worked back home with Marie. She's a way better person having been mortal than any of the other parts of Izanami were.

They still got new gods after that, but that's.... it's a kinda complicated family tree really and who's who's parents depends on who's telling the story too.

That's not a really good solution either. It's like making the entire class have detention when only a few kids did something wrong. I mean, being sent away from Olympus itself is punishment enough for the ones who weren't all that bad.

Um. I've been helping Claudia a lot with this stuff and pretty much all of the big twelve have been awful at one point or another, except maybe Hestia and, um, the smith one. And I guess Hermes. Stealing cows isn't as bad as attacking women.

Except for Hestia, they're all assholes some of the time. Even my dad has his moments.

Yeah, among other things. Hephaestus is better at it because he does volcanos and stuff but there's always some overlap in powers.

Yep. Most folks don't really remember that part of his power though. They just know about water and horses.

Yeah, well, I was trying to pay attention to Claudia when she read this stuff at me.

I'm not mad, I just think it's kinda funny.

I mean, he's my dad and I didn't know about the earthquakes stuff until Hephaestus told me.

Maybe we should try to get a system in place where they have to actually directly interact with mortals on a regular basis. That's how I keep from getting completely out of touch with how I affect people.

[And then maybe try it on the Arcana to get them to grow up]
