So, now that everything is going to hades in a handbasket... can I get out of Liminal and maybe save some lives?
Nobody deserves to be put in some eternal oblivion or shut away in Tartarus, not even the Olympians. Which, okay yeah I'm biased here because hey family, but...
Would you let any of this happen to some other group of people if they weren't gods?
Is it okay to send someone, human or not, to somewhere I can personally say is worse than Mobieus ever was? I've been to Tartarus, it's...
[There's a long pause, because it's something Percy personally tries to avoid thinking about.]
I'd rather deal with Mobieus again, in all honesty.
But, maybe if we're lucky we can convince the Titans to just... exile the Olympian gods to Rome? Or whatever Rome is right now, I'm not sure it's really a thing yet.... just. Nobody deserves what's been done to them.

If you need a ride out, I'm happy to give you one.
[And would have been a week ago, so presumably they just haven't crossed paths.]

I mean, I can't really blame them because there's definetly a bigger picture going on here but... we can't become just as bad with how we treat people who aren't us.

I'll go you one better than "if they were human" - I'm willing to bet no one would even be half as okay with this if the people being thrown into Tartarus were other Travelers.

I'm not saying we shouldn't. Just trying to plan ahead.

At this point if it takes some of us revealing ourselves, I don't care.

The exile of an entire side of a war is a drastic measure—speaking to those Travelers who are not a fan of Tower, I thought you had wanted to avoid those?
[ Here he uses his subtleties, as in reality he doesn't give a flying fuck about the Arcana's game. He will only do right by the people of Achaia. Whether or not it aligns with an Arcanum is of no consequence to him. ]
Whatever else the Olympians and Titans are to each other, they are also family. They cannot allow the world to crumble simply because they do not like working with each other. Otherwise, they do not deserve to be stewards to their people. Call for the exile of those, no matter which 'side' they were on.

There was already a titan war before this, and there were a lot of Olympians eaten. They aren't going to play nice because there's too much bad blood on either side.
If I thought they could peacefully re-delegate jobs without more mortals getting killed, splitting the sides and getting them to not bother one another wouldn't be the best solution right now.

'The coup needs to be successful.'
[And then Kinji speaks.]
Ain't nobody sayin' they want the gods bein' sent t'Tartarus specifically. Even Arke thinks it's a cruel punishment fer one a' them, an' he's half-insane cos a' Zeus.
But I ain't too sure lettin' 'em be involved in a new pantheon's gonna please either a' the Arcana. [There's the sense of a resigned huff.] Ain't sure kickin' 'em t'the curb's gonna count too much neither, but it's better than 'em stickin' round here.

It wouldn't be okay to do if they weren't gods, like.... locking up someone just because they exist and are related to someone who was a jerk to you?
How are so many of us okay with letting that happen just because the Arcana said so? The Arcana said we had to murder each other over and over again in Mobieus too, they're not really the good guys they're just the ones in charge.

Regardless of that, you seem convinced that the immediate plan is to send them to Tartarus. Imprisonment and death are the last avenues of action to be considered. Do you actually know anything of the Titans' plans, or are you blowing out ideas based on assumptions?
no subject
The Titans aren't good guys either. I mean, fuck, they ate humans for giggles when they weren't forcing them in to gladiatorial combat.
This isn't a black and white issue okay, nobody's the good guy here. Not us, not the Olympians, not the Titans and not the Arcana.

Yeah, exactly. You're all 'oh they're jerks sometimes' when they eat their wives and mess with people's heads and attack women.

So you shall have to take me for my word when I say:
If this was a part of Prometheus's plan, Selene did not know that.
Helios did not know that.
Both of them considered Hebe's actions a danger to their plan.
no subject
Prometheus himself gave no indication that this was to be part of any plan. It's more likely that a rogue agent was responsible.

Hebe or Prometheus? Because at this point, that matters a lot.
