Hey folks, Ambrose here. I know the other day Elphaba was asking after magic users to learn stuff from, but I was wondering... does anyone else want to learn magic? Who's willing to teach it? Maybe we should get together and do a big ol'... workshop? Exhibition? One of those things.

Basically everyone who is okay with teaching their particular stripe of magic can show what it's capable of, and anyone who wants to learn can shop around. We did this once a while ago, sorta, but I think it's time we do it again.

Ahaha well, I love the opportunity to teach magic. My own personal specialty appears to be indistinguishable from Liminal skills, but I'm happy to teach those, as well as Yellow Magic and its adjacent colors on the spectrum. There's a few other specific skills I've picked up...hm...maybe I should make a sign.

A sign might be helpful, as can Liminal-adjacent skills. But, ah, if you're willing to teach Yellow - and I am to teach Violet - we might need a little side-lesson on color magic in general.

I can't teach any skills that I have from back home, that look like I'm playing with magical water, earth, air, fire, metal and other things... But I have water elementalism from one of the jaunts here, that's also sort of like magical water even though none of these is really magical water, I think.

But I've been interested in color magic for a [long] while, just haven't decided which color / direction would be the best fit for me. [ and she doesn't have any cantrips yet either but that's also on her skills to get list as is almost anything from all the trees ever so you know, being busy with other skills sometimes. ]

It's a pretty big decision, definitely worth taking your time with. Have you narrowed it down at all to which might suit you?

I am willing to discuss red magic and it's particulars with anyone who asks.

I am, however, unilling to teach it without reasonable explanation. I would also prefer that those who do ask me have some degree of practical combat experience with a non-magical weapon or at least a willingness to become proficient with one.

I know I cannot stop other red mages from teaching whomever they feel like, but I think that those are relatively fair terms considering the nature of it.

Uh... I don't know if mine can be taught... it kind of requires certain relics and stuff. I guess some of the more physical training can be taught but... it's not really magic.

I have a lot of theoretical knowledge of magic stuff in my world, but I don't know how much of it actually works. But I'd be happy to learn stuff and give mythology lessons from my world if anyone wants that?

I can teach blue magic, and I can teach any of the cantrips. I could help figure out other colors, except I think we finally have at least one mage of each color present.

I don't think other magic I know is teachable.

The magical ninjutsu disciplines from the Bando peninsula are teachable, I'm fairly sure, as are basic magical disciplines from Achaia. Likewise individual S. Tech capabilities if you're already a host to X-PRESSURE.

I can teach basic cantrip stuff, I got that here, and I can also help out with the Changeling thing. Or try to, anyway.

I will happily teach anyone to use cantrips, and I may teach Yellow magic with some caveats and a great deal of explanation. I will require a period of thought on the matter once I have explained before I begin to teach color magic itself, but if you are willing to meet those requirements, then by all means.

I also am glad to teach those with a Siren's voice more Songs, or if one is interested in learning more about it. The same considering period applies to Song as to color magic.

If you have, ah... begun to manifest strange occurrences along with your emotions, I may have some tips to assist you with better control of those, as well.

Those who have need of replenishing their magical power and ridding themselves of ill dreams may benefit from Dreamcatching. I believe I ought to be able to teach how to create a dreamcatcher and how to use it.

And should you wish to draw on the mundane abilities of Travelers past, there is a method of doing so.

I can also talk people through the basics of Questing Country magic, though unless you were there and can dip back into your overlay's pool somehow, what you get depends entirely on how you'd fit into the classifications. Kanji talked me through it and I'm no Champion.

I've also got water elementalism from Bando, and... well, if anyone has a Persona already and wants some combat practice, I'm down for that, but neither way I know of to get a Persona if you don't already have one is worth going out of your way for.

It's better for everyone who might tap into this power to be informed and trained. It will admittedly be a bit of a crash course, but it's better than no training at all.

Not sure I can teach anyone Thedosian magic... it's one of those things you're either born with or without. I still remember how to teach Elementalism though, even if I didn't keep the skill myself, so I can help with that I guess?

Hypothetically, the same was true of Color Magic, back in Dolorosa. It's possible our liminal nature may allow us to learn, even if we're not from your world.

I don't know if Elementalism is magic, but I can show people how to create and control fire. I've practiced with it a lot, so I can teach how to use it without it spreading. It can be used for putting fires out and defending yourself against fire too.

I also know Color Magic, and I'll teach Cantrips to whoever wants to learn, but I don't know nearly as many as a lot of others do. Most of the ones I do know I picked up to give me an edge in combat. For the stronger stuff my color's Red, and... I'd consider teaching it. I can't promise more than that.

Except for my spell to grow wings, my specialty's in spells that enhance the combat skills I already have. I'm more willing to teach that. I won't teach the more dangerous spells. If you're wanting to learn that kind of shit, you're on your own. [Although there are a few exceptions to that. Specifically, he'd be willing to teach anything to the people he considers family - those people have already earned his trust. But he's not currently under the effects of the Champagne of Truth so he can get away with not advertising such exceptions to the general population of Liminal Space.]

While I might not be in the state of mind to teach magic right now, if someone later still wants to I can teach water elementalism, Cantrips and... well, some Blue Magic. I think Armin's the better teacher out of the two of us, but I specialize in ice while he does in lightning.

I also have Creation Magic, but only two of the four trees there is.
