Announcing the Third Annual Liminal Ball

Alright, darlings, I have had enough of these awful visions of doom and gloom and terribleness.

If I do not miss my guess, it is time yet again for us to start preparing for the Liminal Holiday Ball. For those who are new, let me explain. Each of the past three years, we have had a fancy-dress ball as a party for all of the travelers.

Everyone is invited, whether or not I know you. However, I must say that this is by no means required of anyone. I would hardly force someone into anything they did not wish to do. This is a party for all of us to dress up, to eat, to dance, and to drink, to celebrate ourselves.

As usual, if anyone is willing or able to assist with clothing, food, decorations, or music, by all means, let others know. This is a group effort, I only set it in motion. Please do let people know, especially if you can create fancy dress clothing, or need assistance with food or food preparations.

A couple specific queries as well: Alcuin, darling, would you wish to run a Longest Night pageant again?

And Eren, can I count on you and your friends to help me with tall things?

On Earth, the planet that many of us are from, there are a number of cultures that hold some sort of midwinter festival or another. Originally, it was to celebrate that, as well as have some hint of home. There are no particular traditional observances other than dancing, drinking, and eating. Well, other than a bit of mistletoe.

If you have anything that you celebrate from home, I would be more than pleased to incorporate it!

I've just gotten around to working out how to costume others efficiently, finally. I'm more than available, particularly for dresses and masks.
