Alright, darlings, I have had enough of these awful visions of doom and gloom and terribleness.

If I do not miss my guess, it is time yet again for us to start preparing for the Liminal Holiday Ball. For those who are new, let me explain. Each of the past three years, we have had a fancy-dress ball as a party for all of the travelers.

Everyone is invited, whether or not I know you. However, I must say that this is by no means required of anyone. I would hardly force someone into anything they did not wish to do. This is a party for all of us to dress up, to eat, to dance, and to drink, to celebrate ourselves.

As usual, if anyone is willing or able to assist with clothing, food, decorations, or music, by all means, let others know. This is a group effort, I only set it in motion. Please do let people know, especially if you can create fancy dress clothing, or need assistance with food or food preparations.

A couple specific queries as well: Alcuin, darling, would you wish to run a Longest Night pageant again?

And Eren, can I count on you and your friends to help me with tall things?

Oh, that could be good. I can do the makeup and stuff from the band Jaunt, too.

Or if you wished to still try for a more radical approach, the costume and makeup could be all in monochrome - blacks and whites with a few greys. Then a few accents in a bright blue - a small spark here and there - and your eyes would shine vivid as well as holding to the theme.

Marvelous. Tailored to a more masculine or feminine display? And more like unto your stage costume of that Jaunt, or more of a costume party flair?

Both? [he'll be a guy probably but he doesn't think that's what alcuin means.]

What would costume flair be like?

From what I remember of your stage costume, most of it was cut fairly close to your body, and was specifically meant to not overheat you during performances while accenting you and your movements.

For this, we would consider options with music notes and staff lines, perhaps a tail coat or something that could flare about you when you spin, a collar or hair decoration which expands your presence and might involve either magic or glittering accents.

A costume party tends to... mm. Exaggerate the theme of the costume even more than a musician's stage outfit. I am not certain I am explaining this properly. Did that make sense?

Yeah, I think so. I like the sound of what you're describing.

Then that is what I shall work with and I shall present you with a few designs within the day!

.....Do you have a preference for half-masks or full-masks? Or will you be doing make-up rather than masks this year?
