So, who all know the stories of Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come? Christmas isn't such a big deal in Japan, but our History teacher was insistent on us studying this particular story during the holiday season.

That's what I'm thinking about these past few Liminals. We all were able to see our past in the last one, right? Now it looks like we're getting alternative realities of our home worlds. So it's safe to assume that we'll have yet another Liminal... with our futures.

That being said, your theory seems likely to be the truth. These Trumps seem to have a habit of 'heavily referencing' source material from our worlds.

Any chance of a little more detail for those of us from a galaxy far, far away? I think it makes sense in a general sort of way though...

It will likely be easier to understand if you watch the movies Thorne's going to show, but basically it's about a mean-spirited old man, who doesn't celebrate Christmas or help anyone who ask for his help. He gets a visit from the ghost of his old partner who tells him that he will be visited by three spirits and hopes that he will be saved from the same fate he fell to.

So he's visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past, Preset and Yet to Come and they show him visions relating their names to show him the consequences of his actions, so to say. After he wakes up, he's back in Christmas Day and he's ready to start redeeming himself.

So do you think the Arcana are trying to warn us about something?

If that's the pattern of the story they're referencing, then there's a decent chance they'll stick to it - though it may be the future we fear or wish for instead of an actual prediction.

I think the real question is, what's the purpose?

They might be trying to warn us about something... or then it's just your basic Liminal messing with our heads thing.

If it's a prank, it's a very drawn out and elaborate one.

I suppose we should just be grateful the videos have stopped.
