Hi everyone, Ambrose here with observations... I think most folks have made but let's all discuss about them at once. [ because that's helpful. sometimes. ] And if you have no idea what I'm talking about? Ask, folks will fill you in.

Okay: the tree and the colored fire and the emotions, that's obviously to do with the Illuminants or at least color magic. Dark cold wet city? That's Mr. King We Don't Talk About from Harrogate, maybe. The really bright... things with all the space stuff I think is a reference to Starmovers. I'm still trying to figure out the thing with all the little worlds but that could just be Traveling in general, I'm open to suggestions.

Now: what do we think they're trying to tell us with all this? They've been pretty chatty lately but goodness knows they can be lousy communicators.

Speaking of inscrutable, did any of you meet the Fool? Don Orlea, Bandages Guy?

Not especially. But then I guess he's all about making your own way and stuff like that. It's more the experience than how you get there. Journey not destination. Something.

Kinji. [ repeating it helps him remember. ] Nice, ah, meeting you. I've been Traveling for a while now so if you've got any any general questions about that or what happens when you're Marked, I can take a stab at them.

I'm curious 'bout what Marks are s'posed to mean, besides that we've basically been branded by the Arcana. All I can tell so far's that they seem pretty personalised.

[A small pause.] 'cept fer maybe Jules's. Ain't sure what's up with his.

Jules' is... a thing which kinda defies explanation.

As for other stuff Marks do: there's been two occasions where mine's done this sort of itchy tingly thing and led me to a clue or some task that needed doing. Dunno if or how often it's happened to other folks.
