Dragons? Really?

[As far as tone is distinguishable on the network, that's muttered, and very, very frustrated - but anyone who remembers Misericordia probably understands. When Naoki resumes, it's at a much more normal volume and tone.]

Anyway, we might as well get a check-in going. This is Naoki. We are definitely not in Harrogate, unless something went very, very wrong with Earth's climate since the last time.

If it turns out we're missing a substantial chunk of people, I can try reaching out to the others later this week.

I don't think these dragons are that kind of destructive. [That doesn't mean shaking the association is difficult, but they wouldn't be hatched in relative safety and so close to humans if they were.]

I would not think they would allow us so close either. But they are taking precautions. So maybe they are harmful, if only unintentionally.

I think it may be too early to tell what we are supposed to do. I will give it one more day cycle. I may actually have to sleep during the day though. These days are much longer than back home. [That actually worries her a little, she doesn't want to miss out on anything, and four hours will risk missing something.]

Most people do. Midday's dangerously hot, so there's no point in strenuous activity.

It is something I am not used to. Much warmer than my home. I will be careful though.

I'm also pretty sure the local day is a lot longer than 24 hours. That's going to take a while for me to really make sense of, though.

I can be awake three days on my world before I need sleep. But you are right, the day seems a lot longer than that. Though I will poke around a little more before I go back to my room, see what I can find.

I will try to remember to report anything of interest if I do not get distracted by the dragons. The Cheetah ones are pretty.
