Dragons? Really?

[As far as tone is distinguishable on the network, that's muttered, and very, very frustrated - but anyone who remembers Misericordia probably understands. When Naoki resumes, it's at a much more normal volume and tone.]

Anyway, we might as well get a check-in going. This is Naoki. We are definitely not in Harrogate, unless something went very, very wrong with Earth's climate since the last time.

If it turns out we're missing a substantial chunk of people, I can try reaching out to the others later this week.

I think I'm going to try to get hooked up with the place treating the dragons. Gotta use that astrobiology degree somehow.

Also, do we know if this is earth or an earth parallel, or somewhere completely different? Gravity feels the same, but that doesn't mean much.

The more I find out, the more certain I am this isn't Earth at all.

I'll probably see you there. I have no idea if my own first-aid background will be of much help, or the stuff I picked up last time we had dragons on our hands since these are different, but short of a bar it's where I'll feel the most useful.

Everyone needs first aid, even dragons. Then again, the people that the dragons are annoyed by might need the first aid more.

I'll see what I can dig up. Maybe if I go in acting like I know what the shit I'm doing, it'll help. I certainly know how to act like a scientist.

This is true. I don't think they have a whole lot of medical types who are human-focused.

They were also expecting a bunch of new volunteers, so you don't have to be an instant expert when you get there.
