[As far as tone is distinguishable on the network, that's muttered, and very, very frustrated - but anyone who remembers Misericordia probably understands. When Naoki resumes, it's at a much more normal volume and tone.]

Anyway, we might as well get a check-in going. This is Naoki. We are definitely not in Harrogate, unless something went very, very wrong with Earth's climate since the last time.

If it turns out we're missing a substantial chunk of people, I can try reaching out to the others later this week.

This is Randolph Lyall, I'm here, I'm a teacher at this place, but also myself. Again. I'm honestly not complaining that the Arcana keep making me a teacher, it's refreshing.

This is definitely not Harrogate, though. Or even Earth. It's a planet called Jangwa.

I hadn't wanted to rule out 'it used to be Earth,' but that's more obviously not the case now.

I could tell you a lot about the planet's history. What's really important right now is this is a sanctuary for those dragons everyone is so divided on, and we're preserving them from poachers and from the past hundred years or so of training them for pit-fighting. We're here to raise and protect them, and maybe rehabilitate some to live in the wild, if they don't bond too closely to us in the process.
