Probably ain't, though. I got no idea how this even works. First Jaunt, I was a four-armed dragon person who'd had her reproductive parts ripped out in battle when she was younger. Last Jaunt, I had cybernetic parts all over, inside and out, pretty sure that would affect a pregnancy.

I would... be inclined to agree. However, I am a robot, and yet I have found myself flesh more than once on jaunts. I don't understand how the Trumps accomplish many things, yet they still do.

But can they protect an unborn child when she ain't inside her mother? Like, are our bodies somewhere else safe while we're dumped into somebody else? Does anybody even know?

I don't believe anyone does know. Still, I do hope your child is unharmed. I am aware that the Solarians were hoping to develop artificial wombs. Perhaps they use something along these lines. Perhaps it is only illusion. I cannot say.

Well, he's definitely from further than me. We're 2517. Makes more sense that there'd be robots there. We don't got anythin' smart enough to be offerin' to look after any babes.

I'm about another five-hundred years past you. We've got some robots, but nothing as sophisticated as Daneel here. Although I did once know a human man with a computer chip in his head that supplemented his memory.

Maybe some of the central planets got that kinda gosa, but nobody I ever met. Couldn't afford it.

I don't think even Beta Colony has anything as sophisticated as Daneel and they're the most technologically advanced planet there is back home.
