Four months, give or take. That's how long it's been since I was with my husband and off our birth control, so it can't be any less.

Oh hell, where are we going to find you a uterine replicator here? Much less someone to transfer the fetus? Can you even transfer a fetus at four months? I certainly don't know and I'm certainly not an obstetrician.

[It's not that Byerly isn't aware that women give birth naturally all the time. He himself was a body birth. The first uterine replicators on Barrayar didn't arrive until he was roughly a year old. But they've become ubiquitous back home for those who can afford it and so that's where By's mind naturally jumps.]

Whoa there! I'm not totally sure what a uterine replicator is, but just guessing here... that sounds really extreme. I get that jaunt stuff is gonna make this weird, but I'm not sure just shoving the kid in a machine is a reasonable solution.
