Honestly, I'm not sure. After young Bærry's murder, my theory was that Bagrat--that is, Braig's Infiltrator indentity--was the one responsible for most of the assassinations, but then he himself ended up the subject of a hit as well. I suppose we'll never know, unless the Investigators caught our would be supernatural serial murderer.

But then, I haven't had the time to check back in the psychic archives yet, so perhaps the answer lies there.

Wait, so there was more than one person murdered? Why the hell was I dragged into it? I was pretty much Mr. Nice Guy in all of this; I don't think I was involved in the political crap at all.

You and Braig were the only Infiltrators that I know of that were murdered, but some of the natives of Sarmatia lost their lives as well. And there were attacks against various people as well. Both G--Lupa and Hajime were attacked with silver.
