We've lost a lot of people lately who could either de-infiltrate people or bridge network divides, if not both. They're both useful things to have more of around, so if anyone wants pointers on either, I'm willing to help. This includes some of the building blocks, but not all.
[He wouldn't have taught Kanji the intrusive stuff, and that still stands.]
[PRIVATE to Helena's close CR, double-protected]
Guys, I... I think Helena-san's gone again. I can't find a sign of her anywhere, and she's not responding.

What's it take t'go bridgin' the network?

It sounds like you've already got the intrusive part down. Can you find people by using the network?
no subject
Yep, used it a couple times now. Only seems t'pick up one person at a time, though.

[Actually, the de-infiltrating knowledge was first by a few months, but Naoki promptly infiltrated on his next jaunt and didn't have the chance to test it.]
psi protect II
I think I have that covered, unfortunately. At least I can't turn it on by accident.

...Me and my big mouth. [Claudia sounds irritated, sure, but if anyone else on this filter remembers her reaction last time Helena went missing from Liminal? She's not nearly as broken up this time.]
Re: on the private filter, double-protected
[Claudia, what did you do?]

Then again, we've already got The Invisible Horse and a Mars-color sky going on, so maybe she's trying to skip the HG Wells Book Tour or something. At least there's nothing obviously Moreau-shaped out there.

Can you find people by using the network? That's the other part - when you put it together, bridging is finding a weak spot in the divide between spaces and punching through it.

Also if you get a lot of people who need teaching, you can send them my way, too. I can help.
[Private Filter]
Damn it, not Helena-san too.
How are you doing?

[private, double protected]
I'll manage.

not un-privating
If another dungeon pops up, I'm not expecting it to be as mundane as her first one was. She'd probably be glad to have you there, though.

I can bridge the divides, but I cannot de-infiltrate. I would like to learn.
[The private part, however, is another story:]
Gone? Are you-- [He sends his mind out to find her. Naoki is right. She is gone.]
Kushiel's rod!
... thank you for telling us privately, so we did not need to learn from one of those ghoulish lists of the disappeared.

[private, still double protected]
She would have answered me by now.
Of course. I'm not sure why he's even bothering with those anymore, unless it's to rub people's grief in their faces, and I had quite enough of that before I ever got here.
