Late in Liminal Space

Hello, darlings. We have had quite the difficult last couple excursions, and I think we need a bit of a break from all of the gloom.

So, I would propose a celebration when we find ourselves in our next Liminal Space, as, if I do not miss my guess, it is close to the end of the year. I know there are quite a few Winter Holiday traditions represented among us, so why don't we use that?

I personally would suggest a fancy dress ball of some sort, masked or not. We have enough of us who have the skills to create decorations, food, drink, and clothing, that I believe we could come up with quite the party if we put our heads together.

There is absolutely no need to be so serious all the time, so let's have a bit of fun. Please let me know if you would be able or willing to help with anything, or if you have any ideas of traditions we could participate in. Even if you cannot help, absolutely everyone is invited.

Well that sounds like more than a bit of a faff. Bringing suffrage to any group is extremely admirable, however. I attended a few rallies myself in my original time, but was not around to see the final outcome.

All of that aside, it sounds like a fascinating time, rigged votes aside.

[Abruptly things are being broadcast through Thorne's eyes, giving everyone a good look at her room. One can hear her say] Hey Alcuin, can you pass me the polaroids? [and a slim, white hand passes them over.

The point of view shifts to the short stack of polaroids which she is flipping through. Each picture features what looks like Hajime posing in a terrible outfit. It starts with the orange plaid outfit, then goes through the maroon ruffled suit, the peacock jumpsuit, the "subdued" dragonfly shirt, the plaid slacks outfit, a third plaid outfit, and last but not least the groovy pajamas.

After that last one, the sensory livestream shuts abruptly off.]

He was a groovy seventies werewolf.

I have no idea what the word 'groovy' means, but those clothes are absolutely atrocious.

Why would anyone actually put any of those on their body?

Yeah. Yeah, it is. Sadly, I don't have a picture of the suit he wore to the wake the first night of the Jaunt.

The '70s were a... special time. I've heard it said that if you remember them you weren't there, take that as you will about Artie.

We have some photos of Dad in crap like that, somewhere. It's a wonder Joshua's fashion sense came out as well as it did.

... I think I know what you are implying about Artie, and I do not think I care to continue that line of thought. Although, I do think I heard something about smoking in the Dark Vault once?

Probably depends on which end of the '60s you're talking about. Rebecca seemed to have her head pretty well together, but we were talking to her about stuff from the earlier end. The later end - well, Woodstock, I'd believe it.

... it doesn't actually work that way with vampires. I mean. You wouldn't want to wear my liver. It's already shriveled up and it's just going to turn to dust within the hour.

[There's a new voice yelling in Istas's head. A new actual voice. Eren just accidentally discovered his Sensory Livestreaming by getting pissed enough to yell and it actually working. And boy is he yelling. Very, very loudly.]

Why you! Don't you ever threaten my best friend's sister like that again! You better not come anywhere near her or I'll be tearing your limbs off!

But you may attempt to take off my limbs, if you wish. You will be eviscerated before you succeed, of course, but you may try.
