itsananimalthingEverybody might wanna stay out liminal for a while. Like maybe the rest of the Jaunt. It ain't as bad as last time, you can still get in, and it ain't full of tentacles, but it's not normal, either.
[The words scroll into everyone's head as text, rather than Riddick's usual voice, at first. Then he shifts perspective, and goes for a livestream, showing liminal space as blank and empty as it has become now, so people will know who they're talking to. It's not white, exactly, because Riddick doesn't see color like most people, but it is bright, the shine reflecting off every surface muted only a little by his goggles.
The next words, then, are out loud, as he's speaking to thin air-- for the network.]
Network might not be a good idea to keep using, either, unless necessary. That text thing? That's how it used to be, when I first showed up. Livestreaming still works, but you can't send your voice or tone or anything anymore. It's better than last time, but it's still fucked up, and I don't wanna see anybody gettin' their brains scrambled on accident if something does sneak through.
[And then he shuts off the livestream-- and promptly gets cut off from the network entirely, in response to using that particular skill. Oops. Any responses will be coming many hours later, near dusk-- and after he's explored the sinkhole for a while.
